Toga Clothing – SS15 Her body writhes around in a veritable explosion of inspired creativity, striking bold lines of colour across the canvas. Each thrash mirrors the intrinsic nature of her mind. Her work is the only true reflection of herself, forged out of passion and emotion it is more representative of her than the superficial reflection of her bathroom mirror. The ‘gallerist’ trend came back in force this week at Toga’s SS15 presentation at LFW. Beautifully bright waves of paint washed over everything from sweeping silk maxi dresses and floor length skirts to asymmetric mini dresses, bustiers and tailored outer wear. Coats and shirts were impeccably finished with sweeping frames of chiffon that cradled the models necks and added an air of mystery to the collection. Shards of mirrors adorned a vast range of other garment, like glittering fragments of a mosaic, helping to further enforce the collections artistic aesthetic. The range combines both the raw power of artistic creativity with inherent femininity and provides us with a fantastic selection of highly texural statement pieces.
