Together we can #TREES FOR CLIMATE CHANGE#CHALLENGE# I am Mbenja Clovert Anamani, founder of Rising Hope Foundation for Change, co-founder African Green Movement and a volunteer Mentor with Climate Reality Project. I wish to launch this campaign on the eve of this years 24 Hours of Reality and a fortnight to the United Nations Summit on Climate Change in New York via social media(internet) to fight against climate change through the planting of trees. Let us see how far we can go with this first tree i planted. The main reasons behind this campaign is to raise awareness about Climate Change and its reality, get more individuals, companies and nations to plant more trees to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions which i feel is one of the main causes of all the diseases the world suffers today and lastly to raise funds for the fight against climate change and other humanitarian problems. There is this African adage which says: IF YOU ARE PLANNING FOR A YEAR,SOW RICE; IF YOU ARE PLANNING FOR A DECADE, PLANT A TREE; IF YOU ARE PLANNING FOR A LIFE TIME, EDUCATE PEOPLE I therefore, nominate/challange all World leaders who will attend the 2014 United Nations Summit on Climate Change in New York, especially HE President Paul Biya and wife Chantal Biya, who are the first climate leaders in Cameroon. HE Al Gore, Former US Vice President, Noble Prize Winner and Founder/Chairman Climate Reality Project. HE Jeunnes Park(Mama Africa) African Branch Manager Climate Reality Project and Founder Food and Trees for Africa. To all Volunteer Mentors and Climate Leaders around the World.
