Together with one of our clients, just arrested two suspects involved in an attempted house robbery at a non-client residence in Bungalow Street, Allens Nek Just after 10H00 this morning, four potentially armed male suspects wearing construction overalls jumped the perimeter wall of a non-client residence in Bungalow Street, Allens Nek. The suspects, once over, made immediate contact with two of the residents who were working in the garden at the time. They proceeded to attempt to force the residents inside of the home, but were met with fierce resistance. A struggle ensued and it was at this point that one of our clients heard the commotion and pressed his panic button, to alert us to the situation. The suspects must have heard the siren, because they immediately fled the scene over the same wall they came in over. Our client immediately gave chase of the suspects, knowing that help was on its way. He was joined moments later by one of our Reaction Officers, and together, they managed to subdue and arrest two of the fleeing suspects (in Bakhout Street). Incident management and trauma support are on the scene, as well as an ambulance to attend to minor injuries sustained by the residents. An SAPS aerial vehicle is still combing the air in search of the remaining two suspects. Thankfully, the injuries sustained by the residents were minor and, thanks to the heroic efforts of one of our clients and Reaction Officers, did not manage to get away with a single valuable. #StayVigilant #StaySafe!
