Tolerance, Judging, discrimination... I get pissed off every time the subject comes up. There are exceptions but folks using these words are almost always making a plea, or DEMAND that I not pay attention to or have any opinion about some obviously pathetic bull shit. I despise this sort of thinking. I WILL judge you and everyone else and not feel bad about it at all. I WILL look into it and educate myself the best I can if; its worth thinking about. Everyone has an opinion, if they have half a brain. Those saying dont judge are most often begging your indulgence for behavior they know is just wrong. We hurt ourselves and others all the time and more and more our culture encourages this kind of rot by having us all turn our head or some how condone something that sucks. Im not down with that. If youre mean to your kids or even dump your ashtrays in the parking lot Im going to judge that you are [as far as THAT act goes] an ass. If you make money by needlessly causing the careless suffering of others I am not good with that. These things and dozens more, at least, are things I find worth passing judgement about. If that invites others to notice Im a little thick around the middle and could fix that by giving up cold beer and sweet tea, or that I rarely go to church...what ever. Im good with that. I appreciate a community and network of friends who may tell me something. It just means that they care abut me OR the place where they live and they are inviting me to try help make it better. That may be tough almost every time but sign me up for some hard words. We have too long turned our heads and let our civilization go to hell. And damned if it doesnt happen one sole at a time, as be benignly look the other way and tolerate each others messed up BS. You may as well call me out cause yall aint gettin no pass up in here.
