Tom Cruise has been penciled in to play racing legend and entrepreneur extraordinaire Carroll Shelby in a movie called Go Like Hell. The movie will chart Fords epic battle with Ferrari in the world of 1960s sports car racing. I was okay with Tom Cruise starring in Days of Thunder so many years ago. It was an decent, if formulaic movie, with some extremely well shot racing scenes. But that was before Tom went and got himself all crazy. I guess hes an okay actor, but is this the right fit? Is Cruise the best guy to play Shelby, or would they be better off finding a relatively unknown actor? If you were casting it, who would you put in the seat?
