Tom Geier has announced his retirement after 39 years. Geier was hired at MND in 1975 where he taught almost every English course (and at every level) at some point during his teaching career. He started MND’s Advanced Placement English course in 1980, which was the first AP course ever offered at MND. Geier was the former English Department Chair from 1980-1990, and was MND’s Academic Dean for 14 years until he returned to the classroom in 2004.
