Tom Hardy, Ridley Scott team up for new miniseries Taboo Tom Hardy is making his way to the small screen. EW has confirmed that the Dark Knight Rises actor has partnered with executive producer Ridley Scott for Taboo, a miniseries created by Steven Knight (Eastern Promises). Taboo, which will consist of eight one-hour episodes, will follow James Keziah Delaney (Hardy), “a rogue adventurer who returns from Africa with 14 ill-gotten diamonds to seek vengeance after the death of his father.” Set in 1813, the miniseries follows Delaney as he attempts to build a trade and shipping empire, a task that puts him in the middle of a war between Britain and America. -imdb-
