Tom and I leave on Saturday to join the Rapid Inventory 27: Tapiche-Blanco team in Peru. I could have never imagined Id have this kind of opportunity in my life: action, adventure, danger and discovery as we help to document an unknown region of the rain forest. The trick to conserving environments is in understanding what it is youre setting aside to begin with: these rapid inventories are the first step in preserving areas of our natural world, and we are so thrilled to be documenting the expedition for The Brain Scoop.
