Tom and I were out and about yesterday afternoon, and were passing Safeway on our way home. I remembered Id gotten my flu shot there last year, and that I keep forgetting when Im at the doctors office. So we stopped by, filled out the form, and I noticed one of the questions was about the shingles vaccine - which I also keep forgetting to ask my doctor about. Turns out they had that one on hand, too! WOOT! So, I got my flu shot (Im *really* high risk for upper respiratory junk!) *and* the shingles vaccine. Of course, today I feel like wet dryer lint :-D But, having had Swine Flu (both times), Hong Kong Flu (both times), and others I dont remember the names of, Ill put up with feeling a bit ick for a couple of days. Thank God for modern medicine, and living in a country where its available!
