Tom wiped his hands on the dish towel and smiled at her. Shed never entertained a man in her kitchen before, other than family. Shyness rose as he studied her. He exuded an aura of quiet vitality and strength. She was entranced and almost stepped closer. “Well, guess I better go.” He made no move to leave. “Okay.” She hesitated for a moment, and glanced up at him before turning to walk toward the door.
