Tomatenschlacht in Amsterdam gegen russische Sanktionen Dozens wearing goggles and shower caps took to the streets of Dam square in central Amsterdam to take part in a massive tomato fight in protest of Russian sanctions, Sunday. The tomato fight was organised to draw attention the Dutch farmers who have fallen victim to the sanctions put in place as a result of growing tensions between EU and Russia.
