Tomatoes. Mortgage lifter - will grow again. They were tasty and pretty. Black Krim - grow again. My favorite tasting of all the tomatBeefes. They split easily and didnt produce much mid summer but they were as early as the Early Girls and the taste was out of this world. It was confirmed by those who I gave some to as well. Purple Cherokee - probably will grow one or two again. They were almost as good as the Black Krim, mom liked them better. They were not prolific but came on later than the Black Krim and so filled in when the Krim was not producing. Celebrity - maybe. They produced well, no splitting.. looked more like the pretty tomato one sees at the markets. They were the best for sauces etc because they were firmer. Beefstake - naw.. think I will try a a different big kind next year.. maybe Rutgers. It didnt produce well and not particularly flavorful. I got two really big tomatoes but otherwise I wasnt impressed. Early Girl - maybe one, cuz early. Box Car Willie - I don know. I bought one plant but then that plant had 3 small ones growing in there two which I abused and then eventually planted so it isnt really fair to judge how they would do under good conditions. Black Japanese Trifele - I wont grow as many (I had six) but will probably still grow one or two plants just because these were different. They were smaller and pear shaped and good flavor. They produced A LOT. Next year will be more roma type sauce tomatoes. They dry better and can better than the slicers.
