Tommy & I were in Oskaloosa visiting brother Larry Harvey, sista - Kathy Oswald Harvey - Jake & Melanie. Larry played this song for us right after it came out. We ran to their local Walmart and got the CD. I remember the first time I heard it I thought of my dad and it made me cry. Then on the way home that Sunday, Tommy pulled the truck over and sang it to me. He said he knew it made me think of my dad & my dad was still watching over me, but not to worry because he promised that no matter what, he himself would always be here for me. The song just came on & those memories all came flooding back from that very weekend. I guess in a way he was more right than he knew at the time. Hes still here, just here in the same way as my dad.
