Tommys final dance on DWTS. So well done! (the dancing starts at 2.35). He has had an amazing run. Hes too old to really dance, yet he always sold the moment. Len Goldman congratulated Tommy, saying he was 8 years younger - and could not learn and perform what Tommy was doing. And that he never expects to see anyone that age to get as far again. But lets face it - its easier for the guys to stay on longer. They can get away with not moving much, and hamming it up. When its the woman standing there, with the guy doing all the work - it doesnt look right. And Peta really stood out this season! Non-pro women almost always dance better than the guys, and its what were used to seeing. And that final judging - Peta was in tears, Tommy welling up in the praise and admiration. The two lady judges were crying. What a moment! And they gave them 2 9s and 2 8s. The performance was that good, but they often give better scores on someones last night. He should have been gone 3 weeks earlier. I hate it when people stay beyond their prime, and better dancers go home. (Im here to watch the dancing and spirit). But the last two time they announced the pair were safe, it was such a joy to watch Petas shocked, thrilled expression! Im sure she didnt expect to last 2 weeks! And every week is worth another $40k(?), which would be big money to her. Maybe him, too? They showed a clip of Peta meeting her partner for the first time. Shes standing on the curb. They may know the cast, but they dont know their partner. An old van pulls up, the side door opens - and its filled with smoke! A grizzled old guy sticks his head out, and Peta actually jumps back! Wow, was that funny! It surely took her a moment to realize who he was. Thanks for the memories, guys! (and Im happy with any of the remaining women winning. (the Calrton guy) is injured, and was more a character than dancer, tho he is good. I picked the Liars gal, the first week. The Blogger gal is great to watch, too. And the Duck girl is a revelation every week. I never believe or trust the voting, so who knows. And, gasp, someone might have a different opinion!)
