Tomorrow - Tuesday Sept 16 - is the official US, Europe, worldwide digital release for our new A Love Electric record Son of A Hero. Most all Ive ever wanted to do since I picked up a guitar has involved being to be in a band with people I can share with openly and equally. The dream to create something truly new that might be beautiful to someone, with music, but also with action, in ambitious humanity, is something I constantly work to realize, but feel closer to than at any time before thanks to working with Aarón Cruz and Hernan Hecht. We are people who support each other when it is not always easy, and that makes me proud. Thats our story. We make music. In music, the only rule is you cant lie. I learn how to express my truth better every day we are out doing this. To me, thats what the new record is, our chance to share our experience with you of these past three years, in its certain moments and times of doubt. Weve been all over the world in little hotels, vans, buses, homes of friends and families, working to get this music to the point it has to be at. Im not sure it ever arrives, a point, but the process births something that encourages me to continue our pursuit of things worth loving for.
