Their execs will sit and revel over record profits in the billions and dismiss the concerns and protests from socially responsible investment shareholders. This year they fled their California HQ for Midland, TX. They know that if they stayed in CA there would be hundreds protesting outside and news coverage would be dominated by stories of their environmental and human rights abuses worldwide.
