Tomorrow (Friday, August 15th) is National Check the Chip Day! HHHS is participating by welcoming anyone with microchipped pets to bring them to our Admissions/Lost and Found area (entrance on the east side of the building) between 9:30am and 6pm. Please make sure that all pets are either on a leash or in a carrier. Well help verify that your microchip is working and that its registered correctly. Microchips help reunite lots pets with their owners, but only if the contact information connected to the chip is correct! If your pets are not chipped yet, we would be happy to microchip them for $35 each. Its important to microchip dogs and cats, even if they live inside. Although we never expect or plan for our pets to become lost, if they ever do, you are so much more likely to find them if they have a microchip! If you arent able to make it out tomorrow, we will also be checking and giving microchips at Paws in the Park on Saturday, August 23rd. Come see us!
