Tomorrow I will put in 4 more hours, maybe less until I can say with a smile on my face the day care is finished up until next year. I would like to thank the following people for their hard work in helping accomplish this yearly task. Thanks Denise Drain, Dustin Haines, Larry Dilsworth and of course myself. As with any task we seem to start, we always get sidetracked with something going wrong and this year wasnt any different, the hose on washing machine decided to burst, flooding our floor which caused more stripping to be done while we fixed shutoff valve and hoses on machine, the old wax we had stripped prior had rehardened on the floor. But we took this all in stride and got it done. Replaced 12 x 12 ceiling tiles, fixed ceiling in 4 year old room and retextured it and Im hoping it dries close enough to the color of the old texturing without having to paint ceiling. Washed hundreds of toys, chairs tables shelves walls, shampooed carpets, recaulked various parts of rooms throughout center. Put flooring material down in attic to store crates etc on so easier to access whatever is needed. Cleaned out attic, and even posted a few pictures on facebook of our progress. Now I feel like I did prior to starting this endeavor, must have gotten a cold from the water or maybe walking barefoot on the tile floor butI will be better soon. I just wish that Dustin hadnt gotten sick the same time as me. Well hope all is well with everyone and everyone is well.
