Tomorrow, November 12 at 8:35 am GMT ( = 3:35 am USEST = 2:05 pm IST), 500 million Kilometers from Mother Earth, more than three times our distance from the Sun, Philae the lander will begin a 7 hour, 20 Km, unpowered descent from mothership Rosetta to the surface of the Comet Churyumov–Gerasimenko.
