Tomorrow October 7, will make 21 years that my papaw, father and my hero and mentor went home to be with the Lord. Bear with me, its hard to type through tears. Theres been so may times through these years when i just wanted to set and talk things over with him. To see if he was proud of me. So many times i felt i need him, but if God thought i did, He would still be here. I sure the day he went home, heaven got a little brighter and smiles was on every face. Because that day they sure got the best and i lost everything. But people are gifts from God, there on loan. One day sooner or later God wants them back. 21 years my seem like a lifetime to some, but seems like yesterday when me and my mamaw stood by his side and held his hand while he drew his last breath. But he left me something. He left me a book that instructs and tells me how to get home to him again. He left me a life time time of good memories to cherish and alot of sound advice to live by. Today a tomorrow ill be a little sad and a whole lot home sick over my papar, The greatest man i ever knew, and who taught and loved me. Rev, Richard Wesley Brewer.
