• Tomorrow Thursday Sept 12, 2013 is the last day for in-house FLU SHOTS for Whitfield County employees. The WC Health Department will be at the Courthouse Vending Area from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. • If you can’t be there tomorrow, either visit your personal physician or get your Flu shot at this year’s WHITFIELD COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT’S DRIVE-BY FLU SHOT CLINIC on Wednesday, September 18TH. You can drive by for your flu shot anytime on the 18th from 8:30am through 5:30pm at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center at 2211 Dug Gap Battle Road in Dalton. Regular seasonal Flu Shots will be $22, high dose flu-shots for people 65 and above are $50. The Health Department will be taking cash, checks, Medicare, & Medicaid. AETNA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, State Cigna and State United Healthcare insurance will also be accepted. If you are a County employee (and/or family member) with WC Health Insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield make sure to present your Health Insurance ID to get a “0” co-pay.
