Tomorrow being Veterans Day I would like to thank all the men and women past and present for their service to our country. God Bless America. My Dad was in WW1 in England and that was about all I knew, but in past 6 months I have learned age of 19 he joined the Royal Army Ordnance in 1914. There years before the US entered the war. He was in Didcot, England and Macedonia. Just recently my brother found I guess it like his dog tag with his name and service number on it. From what my brother told me they pinned inside the uniform. Also they have a picture of him in his uniform standing in front of a cart drawn by horses. I also learned he also wounded twice. He left the Army in 1919. He came to the US in 1929 . I have a copy of his declaration of intention to be a US citizen.
