Tomorrow is Childhood Cancer ACTION Month....Ill be posting ways you can ACT to make a difference. Here are some words from my friend, Tara, on what September means to a cancer mom....truth.... September. Different for me than for you. So when I litter your feed with Childhood Cancer Awareness propaganda, dont turn away. Dont feel annoyed. Dont wish we werent friends so you dont have to be reminded that such sadness exists in the world of so many children. Instead, acknowledge my efforts. Spread the word yourselves, raise money, help research. Dont let my pain in September be in vain. Remember, prior to December 19, 2009, September wasnt Childhood Cancer Awareness Month for me either.
