Tomorrow is Mothers Day, I should be panic buying something in - TopicsExpress

Tomorrow is Mothers Day, I should be panic buying something in whatever shop is open, instead I will be thinking about my mother who passed away less than two weeks ago aged 59. Each of my female friends on Facebook (and for every male who loves/cherishes women) take note: Ovarian Cancer is the 4th most common cancer amongst women. Most women will not notice any symptoms as it can take a long time for symptoms to occur. When symptoms do appear, they can be mild or vague (which make it harder to diagnose). They can include: Bloated feeling Persistent swollen abdomen Pain or dragging sensation in your lower abdomen or side Vague indigestion nausea Poor appetite and feeling full quickly Changes in your bowel or bladder habits; for example, constipation or needing to pass water urgently By the time major symptoms appear the cancer may have have spread elsewhere. So if in ANY doubt about pains, aches, perceived stomach problems etc..... Get checked. And get those around you to do the same. The best gift anyone can get, Mothers Day or otherwise, is the gift of good health. Please do share this on.
