Tomorrow is Mothers Day. This week I have been thinking a lot - TopicsExpress

Tomorrow is Mothers Day. This week I have been thinking a lot about my mother, and inevitably, about my family. One cant help but contrast the differences that exist today in the family, the different challenges of parenting, of children growing up in this uncertain, ever-changing world. But what is it that has changed? If we want a strong family, a family that endures, a family that, when all is said and done, stands as healthy and grounded... the Biblical strategy, the mandates of Gods Word remain the same. Could it be that our focus and priorities have become clouded and confused? Have we lost sight of the Biblical model for THE FAMILY? Sunday morning, Mothers Day, we will discuss five building blocks for growing a strong family. Our texts come from Ephesians 3:14-15, and Psalm 78:2-4. As we join together to worship our Lord and to honor our moms, lets also come together to renew our commitment to building a family that is strong; strong in the Lord, strong in our love and commitment to Him and to each other. No matter the age, it is never too late. When Christ enters into the picture, old things pass away, behold: ALL THINGS ARE NEW!!! Want a new start as a family, as an individual? Join us Mothers Day as we walk this journey of faith, hope, and renewal together. Sunday School is at 9:45 am, Worship at 11 am. SEE YOU THERE!!!!! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!!!
