Tomorrow is an exciting day! It is Disability Mentoring Day for the city of Los Angeles. It is an opportunity to underscore the connection between school and work; students with disabilities learn about an occupation and observe work in a workplace. I have volunteered to be a mentor for two students that would like careers in Community Organizing and Advocacy. It will be a full day of exploration and fun.
