Tomorrow is an important day for the Church of England - and for the Anglican Communion. One diocesan bishop is reputed to have said Synod would be crackers not to vote for this. Bonkers is another word I would use. It will provoke such a crisis nationally if it fails to go through this time. It would do irreparable damage to the church. People will simply not think were credible and we wont be. Controversial? Yes. Potentially divisive? Yes. Lets join together in praying for our sisters and brothers in the CofE. May the decision they reach be one based on listening to and hearing Gods Voice.
