Tomorrow is election day in Georgia. Since I endorsed the re election of Governor Deal and the selection of David Perdue to the US Senate, I think the choices have become a little clearer. Deal is the second republican governor in over 150 years and all his opponent wants to talk about is education. Yet since to hear his opponent tell it, the democrats should have created the finest education system in the south. Never mind that Deal saved the HOPE scholarship and passed the largest education budget in his history and that his challenger voted against it and has never passed a single bill in the legislature. Perdue has done things that matter. Yes some of his corporate management cost people some jobs but such is the fate of a CEO. His opponent never created a job or dissolved a job since all she ever ran was a nonprofit run by volunteers which is ok work. But she has also said repeatedly on many key issues that she would defer to the president which is a statement I would reject even if the person in the White House was someone I liked. Whether you agree or disagree with me, get out and vote please.
