Tomorrow is not Colombus Day. It is Indigenous American Resistance - TopicsExpress

Tomorrow is not Colombus Day. It is Indigenous American Resistance Day. Ive uploaded pictures of a Christopher Colombus Statue being knocked down and toppled in Venenzuela, South America. As some of you are aware, some states/ provinces in the U.S., Canada, and some Latin American Nations have replaced Columbus Day as Native American Day or Indigenous American Resistance Day. As some of you are aware that Cristobal Colon/Cristoforo Colombo/ Christopher Colombus was eventually indicted, arrested, convicted, shackled, and incarcerated for committing crimes against the Royal Spanish Crown and the Indigenous American Tribal peoples (North and South America). Thus, there is no need for anyone of us from Alaska to Greenland to Hudson Bay to Mexico to Tierra del Fuego to celebrate the arrival of disease plagued, rat infested, crime ridden ships donned the Niña, Pinta, and the Santa María because we would be venerating a known convicted criminal. Instead of honoring and giving kudos to Christopher Colombus, we should bow our heads, give thanks to all of the past tribal forefather leaders who waged war against the Spanish Crown and all the European Colonizers that followed after. Even though those indigenous tribal leaders lost in their battles, wars against the many European Crowns, many of us are descended from their tribal DNA Haplogroup lines. Thus, many of us continue to live on in their memory and we continue our essence, our unique cultures, our unique customs, unique languages because of these proud dying forefathers.
