Tomorrow is the 4th of July. Americans all around the nation will celebrate our Nations Independence from the TYRANNY of Britain. For many families, the 4th of July may be a time to reflect upon the sacrifice. Many millions have fought and died or lost limbs, vision, or have been scarred physically or emotionally for life. Why? To defend our nation. Friends; please do not get upset with me, this is just my opinion. I see many who say our nation is in distress and I agree we are. We shook off the chains of TYRANNY in 1776 only to return to the same chains in 2014! Our nation has been taken over from within by radicals. The same radicals who killed Americans with homegrown terrorism to draw attention to themselves in the 1960s! This while Moms and Dads were sending their sons and daughters to Vietnam. Now many of these radicals are in Washington, D.C. shaping policies that are weakening America from within. Abraham Lincoln said that America would not be taken down from the outside but from within. Ronald Reagan warned that freedom is never more than one generation from extinction. Many have fought and died in far away places to ensure that others may be free. For what? So that politicians can take America down from within? Perhaps. Tomorrow is a day to celebrate our freedom. Many of our freedoms are eroding. I see many say that they are flying Old Glory upside down tomorrow to demonstrate that America is in distress. This Marine Veteran respectfully disagrees. That flag is stained with the blood of too many PATRIOTS! Just because a few UNPATRIOTIC politicians are determined to legislate America into ruin that does not impact our nations FLAG! Hoist that FLAG high. Stand FIRM. Stand Proud. GOD BLESS AMERICA and SEMPER FI!
