Tomorrow is when my Father Late Dr.Raghupathy passed away fifteen - TopicsExpress

Tomorrow is when my Father Late Dr.Raghupathy passed away fifteen years ago, when I wasnt even finishing my engineering degree. His cycle with a tring tring bell he used to strike especially for me and the baby seat in the front bar in which he took me around his world is the memory I get all the time. The chair he always sat with a bare chest covered with a towel around and wrote pages after pages is still with me and it is his lap for me now sometimes when I want to cradle in my thoughts. When I used to write poems, dance, sing, do dramas, orate, play sports throughout my school and college days, it was his first word of praise that determined my spirit. I am sure, he could have killed it with one glance of disapproval but he always smiled and that gesture has left my back aching for his pat since then. Whenever I walked with him on the roads, even if there was hardly any traffic, he preferred to hold my hands and I wanted to walk free. Alas, now I prefer him to hold my hands and he wants me to walk free. I call him ayya and he calls me Kannamma and even now we talk and even now when one of us get angry, I hangup and he breaks the ice. With Elango Raghupathy
