Tomorrow marks yet another amazing mile stone. Dream Lashes will be turning 4....... WOW! 4 years!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember that very day when I decided to take the plunge. Never once in a million years did I think that I would be where I am today. I remember the doubt in so many what is she doing Eyelash Extensions? REALLY! Im not quite sure what it was but I had this passion and feeling that I knew I could make it work. I worked hard, nights/ days/ weekends- FREE lashes all the time. I even remember at one point thinking and crying to myself Nikki what are you doing? how did you think you could manage this. Home Business/ Full time mummy to 3 children/ wife/ cleaner/ sister/ daughter/ friend and the list goes on. But I dug deep. starting breathing and with the support from my amazing family/ friends my little baby started to grow. Ive been knocked down many times and oh boy does that hurt, but my love, drive, passion to see the smile on my clients faces has been what has got me through it. So here I am 4 years on still standing. But on those days when I did doubt myself, my work and even my reasons for doing eyelash extensions it always comes back to the one thing Passion There was one day at the very beginning when I was talking to my mum. I said Mum I dont know if Im strong enough to be in the Beauty Industry Its tough and can I compete with these amazing talents. It was my mums words that I have suck by everyday since then. She said Love there is enough work out there for everyone you cannot please everyone even though I know you are a perfectionist you have to put your head down and your bum up and focus on those who respect you and make sure that no matter what you are true to yourself and how you represent your business. From that day on I have never looked back. Dream Lashes opened on the 26th of October 2010- it is and will be forever in my heart. Dream Lashes success is from having my HEART in my business and my business in my HEART! Happy 4th Birthday..........
