Tomorrow morning, the Waller family is holding its annual 4th of July bike ride on Longhorn Dr. in honor of Sam Siroky, the young teen who was critically injured in a bicycling accident on Tuesday evening. This is a privately organized event that the family says is open to all bicyclists in Canyon Lake. Leah Ponsford posted that she has created bumper stickers for helmet awareness and to raise money for the Siroky family. (Respond to Leah directly under Posts by Others to obtain a sticker.) The stickers and other items will be included in a raffle fundraiser the Waller family will have during their event. It sounds like a number of individuals and businesses are contributing to the fundraiser. Donna Ritchie is posting further details in her Canyon Lake Community Facebook group.
