Tomorrow my babies turn 9. It will be Easter Sunday, and ironically enough... 4/20. 4/20/05. The best day of my life. Today we will celebrate with a small get together. The theme of their party is Bir-earthday. Its an Earth Day Birthday. We will use only reusable plates and cups. We will have only recycled paper goods of any kind. Trinity has asked for fruit trees and gardening stuff. I will buy her her very first wind chimes. They will sound beautiful. I will cry. The kids will collect trash in the park. The kid with the most trash will win a prize. It will be a plant. Tomato I think. We will paint rocks and create art pieces from found nature. I will think of Don Elzer and Matthew Stephens and Loretta Buckner. I will think of other friends too. Today will be a lovely day. Today will be memorable. Today I celebrate my children. And they will celebrate each other. And I will celebrate all of you a bit too. (Because Ive got this great big ol sappy emotional heart that needs to well itself up with love and spill over some times. Thats what I do.) Happy Birthday Lance and Trinity. Happy Bir-Earthday to all of you. Trinity requests that everyone who reads this please pick up five pieces of trash from outside somewhere. You can take all week to do it, but... you know... do it. Also... plant a tree.
