Tomorrow officially marks the day that one of our very own sets off on her journey to Hungary to compete for Team USA at the IPF Junior Worlds Powerlifting competition in Hungary! From high school meets to collegiate, anyone who is lucky enough to know Kayli Alphonso knows that she gives every single lift beyond her maximum effort. No one can walk up to the platform and give the judges a smile from ear to ear like her. In the weight room and out, Kayli shows great determination and leadership qualities that we can all aspire to hold, not to mention she will stop at nothing until she knows she gave it her all. Kayli, on behalf of your LSU Powerlifting family, we wish you all the luck in the world Monday. Know that we are all extremely proud of the effort you put forth to make your dreams come true, and are so lucky to be able to have you not only as a teammate, but as a friend as well. We dont even have to say Give it your all! because we already know that you will be giving MORE than your all and making us so proud! So go out there and represent Team USA and LSU, and make sure to show them what real powerlifters are made of! Best of luck to you Kayli! GEAUX ALPHONSO!
