Tomorrow sees the return of what you can only describe as a club legend and a fans favourite and a great mate of mine. Ex player Wayne Jones brings his Haverfordwest side to Richmond park for a pre season friendly. He deserves a massive reception when he walks on that pitch as he has been a great servant for the club and one of the successful home grown players to play for his home town in a European competition and over 200 games in the welsh premier. I grew up watching Wayne,and one game I went to watch as a young seven year old will always stand out when town were going through a bad spell of results and couldnt find a win anywhere, we played caersws away in the recreation ground we were drawing 1-1 with 20 minutes to play when we had a free kick from about 25 yards out and it had his name all over it, he stepped up with a 5 man wall infront of him bent it up and over them and straight into the roof of the net,against back then was the best keeper in the league Andy Mulliner, town went on to win the game 2-1. But going back to it he deserves a reception tomorrow and show him that one day we would love him to manage his home town.
