Tomorrow the contractor will be cutting the old water lines servicing some apartments and some side streets and reconnecting them to the new Water Main. If you are affected you should have been notified directly about the expected water outage. The map has been updated to reflect the work area: goo.gl/maps/Oe35g Cherokee Hills and Beech Hills Residents should enter/exit from the Hargrove Road end of the project, or use other local streets to detour around the work area. The work area will be closed to through traffic. This means no traffic is to pass through the area. Vehicles with a destination within the closure may enter the area. Vehicles departing the area will be allowed to leave. Provisions will also be made to allow for Public services such as Garbage Collection and Mail Delivery to continue. All other traffic must detour around. If you must enter or leave the work area, please be cognizant of the fact that you are entering a work zone where heavy equipment is being operated. Please be patient and make sure you are acknowledged and directed that it is okay to proceed before doing so. We understand this is frustrating and we very much appreciate the patience of the local residents. Thank you.
