Tomorrow, we are all supposed to wear mismatched socks to support the anti-bullying movement. I get it, that we are more aware of bullying, but how about, in addition to wearing mismatched socks, we all just went 1 single step out of our way to say hello to the kid who never gets a hello when they are walking down the hall, or let 1 extra car go in front of us, or maybe even hold the door for someone? The rich and the poor can both do these things, the tall, the short, the skinny, the fat, the beautiful, the homely. Can we just do one single damn thing to make someone elses day just a little bit better?
