Tomorrow we are headed to Buffalo Thunder Casino to celebrate my moms birthday. (Which is on Monday) My mom has been the best mom ever. I remember growing up my mom would fix our plates and clean the kitchen while we ate. I didnt understand why til later, it was because we didnt have enough food for her to eat so she would eat what we left on our plates. I didnt even realize we were poor until later in life. Us kids never went hungry, always had new clothes, had great holidays, huge birthdays, and we were always clean and well mannered (at least in public). My mom taught us to share and respect our elders. She taught us to stand up for our ourselves and for others. She also taught us to laugh even in dark times and stay humble in good times.
