Tomorrow we celebrate the birth of Jesus, it was a birth that was prophesied hundreds of years before his birth. But we cant forget another prophecy, the prophecy of Jesus freely giving his life to die for our sins. You see JESUS WAS BORN TO DIE. The little baby we celebrate, was born to die for all men, all who will put their trust in him, and except his free gift of salvation. Trust in him today! Luke 2:7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. Isaiah 53:5-7 But he was pierced for our transgressions;he was crushed for our iniquities;upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray;we have turned—every one—to his own way;and the Lord has laid on himthe iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,yet he opened not his mouth;like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,so he opened not his mouth.
