Tomorrow will mark two years of remission for me. Three more and they call me cured. It took exactly six months for me to kick cancers ass, January 30 to July 30 start to finish. I could not have done it without my parents, Debra and Richard , moving in with us to help my little family function, and to take care of me. My husband, Daniel , who cared for me more then any husband should ever have to. My friends, like Lisa and Julie (and so, so many others) who gave me shoulders to cry on, booze, and rides to radiation. This community, that gave me thousands of cards, thoughtful gifts, and a place for me to always call home. Today, I am strong, healthy, and happy, and I owe it all to my people. Thank you.
