Tomorrowland Festival in South Africa Is one of the world’s largest electronic dance music festivals coming to Cape Town in February 2015? Get your glow sticks ready, TomorrowWorld, the international edition of the mind-blowing Belgian electronic dance music (EDM) Tomorrowland festival, is allegedly sounding off on the shores of South Africa (SA) for three maddening days in February 2015. The rumour mill has been spinning faster than a seamstress on European speed, and thus far, it seems that the jol is scheduled to wreak havoc somewhere just outside of Cape Town, possibly at Fairview wine estate in the Paarl area. Sources say that Lloyd Cornwall, the man who brought Ministry of Sound to SA, and prolific brand experience agency VWV have teamed up to purchase the rights to stage the EDM wonderland on Mzansi soil and that they expect at least 12,000 tourists to fly in to attend the massive party. Famous for creating a festival experience like none other – this year in Belgium there were floating stages decorated with flowers set to bloom as the gates opened – Tomorrowland features the best in the business (think headliners like David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Tiësto and Armin van Buuren all in one place) as well as those on the cusp of mega fame.
