Tomorrows forecast calls for sunny skies and 75 degrees: perfect cheering weather! Heroes Row the Harlem is almost here, and we cant wait to see our NYPD and FDNY rowers race 1,000 meters on the river. These firefighters and officers have shown such incredible focus and spirit during their nearly 2-month training. We are in awe of them, both on and off the water. They push off the dock at 11:30 and race at noon from the Peter Jay Sharp Boathouse. And following the race: rowing lessons, kids activities, cookouts, and time on the water for experienced rowers, throughout the afternoon till 5:00.
