Tomorrow’s Sermon Title: What is it to enter into Messiah’s Rest: What does it mean we have to Labor to enter His Rest? Scripture Reading: Matthew 11:28-30 “Yeshua said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.’” Introduction Headline: What is the Rest that Messiah wants to give us? Hebrews 4 tells us that it takes work to enter Messiah’s Rest, and find His Peace. Introduction Text: We have gone through understanding that there are various dimensions believers can access for developing deeper and more intimate relationships with each Person of the Triune Creators. He have learned that in these Last Days, there will be Ancient Portals and Gates for us to access, as we move through the dimensional barriers to escape persecution, and to find hope and comfort. There is one, and most important, Ancient Portal and Gate that we must enter into, so that we can find rest for our tired minds, souls, and spirits: that is the True Gate of Heaven, Messiah Yeshua. At the time Messiah’s Rapture Ready Bride is Ingathered into the 3rd Heaven, is when we will have His Rest, because we will finally be at peace forever in His Magnificent Presence. John 10:9 quotes Yeshua say, “I am the Gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved (from all danger and destruction), and will go in and out and find pasture, (and needs met).” When Messiah said I Am the Gate!, He was declaring that there is no other who offers deliverance and salvation from the consequence of sin, which is eternal death, and Eternal Life with Him. When He said I Am, He was saying that He is the same Person who appeared to Moses in the wilderness in the burning bush, and when He said He is the Gate, He said He’s the only Way. While there is yet life in our mortal bodies, we have the opportunity to find Salvation in the Name of Messiah Yeshua, and receive all the blessings that Heaven has to offer for Yahweh’s children. Messiah was referring to our access to the Holy of Holies when He mentioned that He is the Gate. He is the Ancient of Days who opened the Holy of Holies to common man to find Abba Yahweh. All of humanity has sinned and has fallen short of the standards of holiness Elohim requires for entrance to His Heaven. No sinful person has access to Abba Yahweh without Adonai our Savior. 2nd Timothy 2:5-6 says, “There is one Adonai and one Mediator who can reconcile Yahweh and humanity: the man Messiah Yeshua. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.” No one else can provide safe passage through the Holy of Holies to approach the Throne of Grace where Majestic Elohim, the Triune Most High, sits and receive Grace when we need it most. Messiah, the Ancient of Days, and Father of Eternity, is the Ancient Portal of Heaven, through Whom we have introduction and access to the Most High, Abba Yahweh, our Elohim. When Messiah said I Am the Gate!, He also referred to Psalm 23, as the Great Shepherd who meets our need, and delivers us from our enemies, because it’s in Him that find true peace and rest. Psalm 23:1-3 tells us, “Yahweh is my Shepherd. I am never in need. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside peaceful waters. He renews my soul. He guides me along the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name.” We meet every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at Hope Fellowship of Somerset for fellowship.
