Tonight I am thanking my God for his traveling mercy. We were all - TopicsExpress

Tonight I am thanking my God for his traveling mercy. We were all talking and laughing playing with the kids and in a short few minutes we could have been gone. If that was the Lords will so it would have been. My Savior has allowed me and my family to be here on this earth just awhile longer. Today Shaleesa, myself, and her 2 children( Jaycel who will be 5 on Friday and 5 week old Nyla ) went to Elizabeth City to visit with my youngest daughter ( Charnelle) and her 2 children( Jaylin who was 4 Sept.15th, and Syncere who is 13 weeks old).We went to I-hop to eat with Jasmine and Ray also.Had a great time talking laughing and playing with the kids. We left there and went to Walmart to get the kids costumes for holloween. We then left to make the trip back to Shaleesas house. when we got about 2 to 3 miles from Walmart, just after 3 Amegos, and before I-hop 5 deer dart up out the ditch. I slowed enough that the first 4 got across in front of me, but the 5th one ran slam into the side of the car. Shattering the passenger side window, breaking the mirror and denting the back passenger doors. Shaleesa was in the back seat with the kids. Everyone got some glass on them but we were all ok besides being shaken. But look at how good God is: Shaleesa had tint put in her windows a couple years ago and thought about taking it out of that window earlier today because it had bubbled, but changed her mind. The tint is what held the glass together so we didnt get the full blast of shattered glass. Being a driver for so long I didnt try to swerve or the impact could have maybe turned the car over or sent us in a spin into the other direction of traffic. My God had his mighty hand on the wheel. My grandson Jaycel was so scared he cried for about 4 or 5 minutes straight. After he got himself together and knowing everyone was alright he began to thank God. He kept saying thank you Jesus, I am so glad my family is ok. At 5 years old sometimes you dont know that they are letting the Lord rule their lives. He was so worried about all his family. Jaycel was telling everyone he saw about what happened and always said thank you Jesus my family is ok. I am so proud of my grandson for talking to God on his own. So proud to serve the God we do. Amen....
