Tonight I am thinking about my beautiful Grandmother, Virginia Brazeal. I am having trouble putting into words how much this woman means to me and my family. Days go by and you grow up thinking your grandparents are always going to be there. Youre always going to have another Holiday, another laugh, another hug and another chance to tell someone how much you love them. In the case of my Grandma, another chance to be her partner in a game of Pitch (because she is the BEST!) and FINALLY learn how to make her famous beans! (When I couldnt even get her sweet tea right!) As I prepare to say bye to my last Grandparent, do me a favor and plan a visit with yours to tell them how they have shaped your lives. I tried but I am afraid that I could never tell her everything I feel, and I only hope she knows on some level that she is responsible for everything I am. Every success I have is because of my family and I can honestly say that my Grandma deserves the majority of that credit. I am strong, confident and can love unconditionally because I know no other way. My Grandma embodies love, wit and strength. I only hope I can be like her one day and that she will always be proud of who I have become. I love you Grandma, and always will
