Tonight I did my first semi-alone closing at UNOs as a shift supervisor after only being with the company for about 8 months. Im not really big into bringing attention to myself because Im relatively modest when it comes to things like personal achievements. With that being said, Im really proud of myself with this one because I truly worked my balls off ever since the whole Dockside fiasco back in March. This post isnt only about boosting my self-esteem (trust me there) but about all the people who helped me get to this moment. So, I want to thank those people publicly because without them, I truly would be nothing. Im not tagging anyone because those people know who they are and have been or will be thanked in person. So, THANK YOU everyone at UNOs in Swampscott who accepted me with open arms back in the spring and to those who have joined us there since then because in some way, whether it was big or small, youve helped me. And just a big thanks to the management team who, for whatever reason, trusted me to be apart of the team. Alright its almost 4am and I have to open the restaurant and do a double.
