Tonight I had a great time participating in a community conversation with about 30 Whitehall Yearling High School students. Our letter of invite addressed us a community leaders however I instantly became a mom and my husband a father. This was a major wake up call for both me and my husband Michael T. Bivens who attended as well. We have some amazing and gifted students in our district however as a community its vital that we continue to support our students. My team really provoked both me and my husband to do better by them by being more engaged in the community. All I can say is WOW. Fellow Whitehall parents tonight provoked both my husband and I as fellow parents to try to connect with more of you. Until then please know that we are praying parents and we pray for all the students. Still brainstorming..But WOW!!
