Tonight I had the amazing honor to speak to a small group of 13 year old girls about self esteem and self love! It really opened old wounds for me as I struggled with my image throughout my life. The most important thing that I instilled in them is that they must love themselves first and always think positively about themselves and if there are negatives, to speak those truths and strive for positive change! (Longggg sentence) We also were able to reflect on the positive and negatives in our lives. It was a very beautiful transparent moment, we all share things that we were scared to reveal. I want to thank the girls for allowing me to share my story and Alishia LaPorte & Candice Murrell Cox for establishing a program that is positively empowering our young girls. I love you all!! I left them all with this quote that I wrote today, Never rule out what you are capable of doing because sometimes you need to go through some things until those abilities are revealed & then you will know your own strength & then in that moment you will be unstoppable XO - Stacey
