Tonight I have been working on creating a affirmation track to Baroque Music. In the process I found out that one of my most favorite pieces of music came from this era. (I am a noob in music history lol) But I love Pachelbels Canon in D major. this piece of music has moved my soul every time I hear it. tonight I have listened to at least 10 different versions of this looking for my favorite version to add as the back drop for my affirmations. and then it hit me, this music was written around 1620, in 1620 to hear this played you would have to hear it live. Which means that hardly anybody would ever hear this or any music. I can not believe how blessed I am to live in a time that I can have music playing in every second of my day if i so choose. In all of earths history never has a group of people been so blessed with music. I am so grateful and lucky to have been born in this time and this place! I know my father in heaven knew how much I would need music, how it would touch and move my soul, how I would feel his light and love flowing through so many styles of music.
